Hi. My name is David and I run f2 Photography. Wedding and Portrait Photography is what I do.

It is my only work and is not used to supplement a full time job or to fill my weekends. I take enormous pleasure in capturing moments which document the story of a couple's special wedding day.

My love of photography was nurtured in the late 1960's when, as a child, I used a small cupboard in my bedroom as a darkroom. I would spend hours taking photos on roll film and then eagerly awaiting the final results as the images magically appeared on photographic paper before my very eyes. This era was before colour film was affordable to the masses.

Whether you choose a short ceremony only package or a full blown wedding photography package covering the whole day, the service and attention to detail is the same.
Wedding photography is an opportunity for me to be part of your big day and to help create memories by telling a story of the whole event.

My shooting style is relaxed, mainly off the cuff, reportage photography aiming to put you at ease, provide a friendly informal atmosphere, thus helping produce natural looking results for you to cherish. I aim to make myself as inconspicuous as possible. The best shots are almost always taken when the subject forgets I'm there. Capturing natural shots helps produce great candid photography. A smile or a laugh looks so much better when it’s real.

You will probably require the obligatory posed and formal shots with the parents, bridesmaids, Best Man etc even if you hate the idea of posing. I promise to make the experience as short and painless as possible :) Even if you dont want the formals ...... mum and dad might!
